NEW YEAR’S EVE LABYRINTH WALK AND EUCHARIST
Based on a 12th-century design from Chartres Cathedral, the labyrinth at St.Thomas is a wonderful aid for meditation and prayer. It is not a maze, which has dead ends and false trails to make the walker lost. A labyrinth, despite all of its twists and turns, moving forward and then back again, always leads the walker to the center and then out again. To walk the labyrinth is to make a pilgrimage of the soul, moving deeper into yourself and deeper into God.

Thanks to all who joined us New Year’s Eve to walk gracefully into the new year by participating in the group labyrinth walk, reception and first Eucharist of 2008.

And the winners ARE ...
Hampton Burwick, Greg Grosh, and Pat Vaughan, were elected by acclamation for a three-year term to fill the three vacant slots on the St. Thomas vestry.

Sandee Lowe was elected to join Stephen Toon and Seldon Short to represent St. Thomas as delegates to the Diocesan Conventions.

And it's Chet Flake by a landslide for trustee of the Endowment Fund.

The annual parish meeting was very well attended as the elections were conducted, the budget distributed and discussed, and the Community Garden plans for 28 private plots, in addition to the community areas were unveiled.

More details to come. Stay tuned!
