St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, at 6525 Inwood Road in Dallas, Texas has always been known as a place welcome everyone, and where thinking, tolerant Christians could develop a more engaged life with God, their families, friends and the broader community within the Episcopal Tradition. Today, St. Thomas announced the first edition of a quarterly publication about that very place: 6525 Inwood Road. As matter of fact, that's what the publication is called.

Katharine Jefferts Schori, our Presiding Bishop, will be visiting with us at Saint Thomas The Apostle in just over six weeks! Her day with us will begin with a private, invitation-only meeting with the clergy of the Diocese of Dallas in the morning. In the afternoon, we are all invited to join her for a blessing of our Community Garden, with a reception and Q&A session to follow in our Parish Hall. We expect a capacity crowd for the garden blessing and reception, which will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Monday April 28.Many of you have been asking what you can to help prepare for her visit. Below are a number of tasks we have identified as well as the person in charge of that task.
